There will be many exciting events taking place on Friday, February 7th at the Manotick Shiverfest.
There will be an Outdoor Bonfire and Neon Dance beginning at 6:00pm at Centennial Park. At this event you can meet your neighbours, relax and enjoy a hot chocolate and a timbit. There will be music provided by Live 88.5. You can also join in the Neon Dance organized by YOMA.
From 6:00-6:50pm, the Outdoor Rink at Centennial Park will also feature a hockey game by the Osgoode-Rideau Timbits. You can come out and cheer the Timbits on in a shinny game.
There will be a Magic Show by Chris Pilsworth from 7:00-8:00 pm at the Manotick Arena - Kiwanis Hall. The 45-50 minute show is jam-packed with amazing visual magic which has won Chris numerous awards and allowed him to perform around the world. The show has been specifically designed to appeal to families, children and adults alike.
The Rideau Skating Club will be putting on an Exhibition at the Manotick Arena from 7:00-9:00pm. This event allows you to witness amazing jumps and spins in performances by young skating stars! The Winter Exhibition is an opportunity for each skater to showcase their ability and gives them the chance to perform their competition program in front of an audience.
To close out the evening, there will be a Music Concert featuring the Retrosonics at the Manotick United Church from 7:30-10:00pm. The Manotick and Area Centre for the Arts and Wellness (MACAW) is hosting this family-friendly dance party. Doors will open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.
